The news is scoop is strong with this one. Being a fan of Schmoes Know and how interesting this new information is I thought it would be appropriate to do some sort of blog on it.The news is that Schmoes Know (known for their hilarious and relatable podcasts on the Toadhop network and their movie reviewing Youtube channel) have a huge scoop on the potential storyline of Star Wars Episode VII. Anyone who is familiar with Schmoes Know can tell you that they are positioned right on Hollywood's doorstep and occasionally get some very exclusive information on future releases. The info gives some plot details and who the main characters for Episode VII could potentially be. The information on the film goes as follows:
'Two 17 year old twins, a girl and a boy, are trained by their uncle Luke to be the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy. Problems arise when the male twin turns to the dark side.
Jaina Solo – Female, 17 years old, lead. – Jacen’s twin sister, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy, trained by her uncle Luke Skywalker
Jacen Solo – Male, 17 years old, lead – Jaina’s twin brother, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the world. A loner who is constantly struggling with the idea of what’s right and what’s wrong. Starts to turn to the dark side. Full of conviction that what he is doing is the “right thing”. Will eventually become Darth Caedus.'
Now everyone remain calm. Yes this information could be true and if it is, this plot could be a clever way to keep the storyline Skywalker centric. But we must still remind ourselves that this could all change, J.J might not be out of the ideas stage yet. I don't know much about the fan novels or other Star Wars canon but apparently this is reminiscent of that?
Now I am excited about the news but I still need some convincing... Given J.J's reputation of keeping all his movies a secret I think he will neither confirm or shun these rumours even if they are true. Give it time guys. What about the Jonathan Rhys Meyers rumours?
